These videos are so cool!! We had a lot of fun on this photo shoot. Once again we returned to Lansing’s Old Town. Every time I photograph there I try to find a different angle just to keep it fresh. My friends for Tallulah’s Folly changed up things in their street display which made for a great back drop!!

The Whiteheads || Family Portrait Session

Thursday, August 18th, 2011

It was an extreme honor when Amanda and her family asked me to photograph them. I have know the Whiteheads for over 20 years and remember first meeting Amanda at an IG (Interaction Group) that her mom, Dee, hosted at her house.  Dee past away a few months ago and Amanda’s dad wanted to bring the family together and have a “formal” photo done.

If you have followed my work at all, you have probably seen Amanda on several blog posts in one of the many plays I have photographed over the years. I wanted to have a “fun” session so I choose Old Town, Lansing. Here are a few of my favorites from that session.

Amanda W || Headshots!!!

Tuesday, June 14th, 2011

It was my pleasure to photograph Amanda a couple weeks ago for a image she needed for the upcoming Pulsar Awards! Amanda is up for as Pulsar for Best Supporting Role in a production! I was able to photograph Amanda in two productions that she was in this year and I would not be surprised if she walks away with the award.

We were pressed for time so I had to photograph Amanda at her work location at Mount Hope Church. We were going for the “urban” feel and the big steel doors were just the ticket! The session only took about 30 minutes from beginning to end, but I think we got some great images. Good Luck Amanda!!
